100, of Van Wert, died at 3:55 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born September 12, 1910, in Roselm, the daughter of the late William Russell "Bill" and Minnie Elvina (Shinaberry) Myers. On June 1, 1937, she married Morris Arthur Saam, who preceded her in death in 1985.
Mrs. Saam was a housewife.
Survivors include two sons, Clair Burnett Saam of Arvada, Colo., and Dennis J. Saam of Van Wert; a sister, Rachel Elvina Sheely of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Matthew J. Saam and David A. Saam; and three nieces, Claudia (Myers) Elliot of Grover Hill, Mellanie (Sheely) Brennan of Chicago, Ill.; and Rachel (Sheely) Gutstein of Houston.
A sister, Ena Lenora LeViness; and one brother, William "Bud" Myers, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 27, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 26, at the funeral home.
