Bernice Opal Agler, 104, of Van Wert, died at 12:10 AM on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Hearth and Home in Van Wert.

On July 18, 1923, she married William B. Agler. He died April 14, 1998 before the couple would celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary.

In later years, she attended First Friends Church. Her mission in life was leading people to God. As she aged, she learned that it's not what's in your heart that counts but the love in your heart. The reason for her longevity she credits to God.
