Charles James Bilimek

Charles James Bilimek, 60, of Van Wert, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at his residence. He lived a happy life and passed away peacefully. He was born October 17, 1952, in Portsmouth, VA to Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Murphy) Bilimek who survives in Van Wert and the late James Bilimek.
On April 9, 1993, in Van Wert he married Cynthia Kinstle. She preceded him in death July 31, 2003.
He is survived by his children: Shelbi Bilimek (daughter) of Van Wert- Carrie (Hobie) Mckeddie (Daughter) of Van Wert- Matthew (Carrie) Bilimek (Son) of Waynesfield, OH- James "J.J." (Katelyn) Bilimek (Son) of Columbus, OH- Jaime Bilimek (Daughter) of Alger, OH- Brittany Agler (Step-Daughter) of Defiance.
3 Brothers: Rick (Vickie) Bilimek of Middle Point- Mike (Dorothy) Bilimek of Rockford, Ohio- and Joe (Connie) Bilimek of Van Wert.
3 Sisters: Barb Thompson of Van Wert- Ginny (Darryl) Ricketts of Rockford, Ohio- and DeDe (Rick) Runyon of Ohio City- 1 Brother-in-law, Gene Allmandinger- 8 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Christina M.Allmandinger, May 27, 2009.
Jim had been employed at the former Kennedy Mfg., GKN, and Roundys, He was a 1971 Graduate of Van Wert High School and had served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.
He had been an active member of the former Van Wert Jaycees Club. He loved to bowl, fish, play cards, and spend time with his family.
Services will be at 6:00 PM Friday, July 26,2013, at Brickner Funeral Home with Deacon Andrew McMahon officiating. Friends may call from 2 till time of Service at Brickner Funeral Home. Preferred Memorials are donations to a charity of the Donors choice.
