Colleen A. Beck

Colleen A. Beck, 92, of Van Wert passed away February 11, 2014 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert. She will always be remembered for her faithful love for her Lord and Savior. She has been the oldest member at First Baptist Church in Van Wert which she joined in 1945.
She was born in Paragon, Indiana on June 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Oley and Susie Stevens. She came to Van Wert after high school to live with her Aunt when she met and married Stephen E. Beck. They have been married 73 years. Stephen survives and lives at Vancrest Assisted Living.
Other survivors include one son, Donald E. (Pam) Beck; two grandsons Steve and Brent Beck; two great-grandchildren Ryan and Aaron Beck all living in Van Wert.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Craig Aaron Beck and her great-granddaughter, Taylor Allison Beck.
There will be no Memorial Services. A family gathering is planned for Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Brickner Funeral Home.
Memorials are to the Vancrest Activity Fund, in honor of the wonderful, caring Vancrest Staff.
