Daniel Steven Gutierrez

56, died on Monday, August 1, 2011, in Ft. Wayne, IN.

He was born September 17, 1954, in Van Wert, the son of John and Josephine (Marez) Gutierrez who both preceded him in death.

Survivors include three children, Keith D. (Tiffany) Gutierrez of Amherst, OH, Jason S. Gutierrez and Andrew J. Gutierrez both of Findlay, OH; 10 Siblings, John (Paula) Gutierrez of Paulding, OH, Diann (Jeff) Ebel of Grover Hill, OH, Gilbert (Denise) Gutierrez of Van Wert, OH, Sue Szuch of Elida, OH, Lou (Steve) Biberstine of Ohio City, OH, Ron Gutierrez of Tallahassee, FL, Randy (Jeanene) Gutierrez of Rockford, OH, David (Marsha) Gutierrez of Ft. Wayne, IN, Bernadine (Klayton) Hooper of Cloverdale, OH and Mariea (Dan) Moreland of Van Wert, OH; 2 grandchildren, twins, McKenzie and Madison Gutierrez. He had many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Theresa Gutierrez who passed away at birth and a brother-in-law, Dave Szuch.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with the Father Stanley Szybka officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1-6 p.m. Friday, August 5, at Brickner Funeral Home.
