David Estes
April 14, 1955 — January 28, 2012
David Estes, 56 of Van Wert, Ohio passed away on January 28, 2012 at 3:12 pm at Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born on April 14, 1955 in Chicago, IL to Wiliam Sterling Estes and Mary (Kopack) Estes, both of whom preceded him in death. After years of being together, on November 4, 2010, he married Debra (Jacomet) Estes, who survives in Van Wert.
David was a truck driver for many years. He was also a Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors include two children, Cassy (Kurt) Moering and James Estes both of Ft. Wayne, IN; four step-children, Chasity (Brent) Sudduth-Sidle, John (Jennifer) Sudduth, Josh (Shelly) Sudduth and Ray (Breanne) Sudduth all of Van Wert, OH; ten grandchildren, Skylar Sudduth, Austin Sudduth, Bradley Wilder, Caitlin Wilder, Killian Sudduth, Keaton Sudduth, Layla Sudduth and Landyn Sudduth all of Van Wert, OH, and Colton Estes and Morgan Estes both of Ft. Wayne, IN; a sister, Roberta "Bobbie" (Jim) Estes of Michigan.
Memorial Service will begin at 4:00pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, OH.
Preferred memorials are donations to the family.
