Della Ellen Anderson

Della Ellen Anderson, 94, of Van Wert, died at 6:18 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born March 14, 1918 in Parma, Missouri, the daughter of Laura (Riggs) and Leonard Martin, both of whom preceded her in death. On April 21, 1945 she married Sidney E. Anderson, he preceded her in death on December 9, 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Fleagle of Van Wert; Son-in-Law, Jeff Greenwell of New Carrollton, MD; 6 Grandchildren, Dale Greenwell of Durham, NC, Glenn (Claire) Greenwell of Ellicott City, MD, Chris (Sue) Greenwell of Bowie, MD, Alan (Carmen) Greenwell and Stephanie Noel, both of MD, Ben (Amy) Fleagle of Cloverdale, OH; 14 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Claudette Greenwell; 3 brothers, Virgil Martin, Earl Martin and Hershal Martin; and 2 sisters, Alma Jean Martin and Elsie Peterson.
Della worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys for 30 years. She was a member of the Apostolic Church in Van Wert.
She loved her family greatly and also loved gardening.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 3, at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, with Pastor Justin Sterrett officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in St. Marys, OH.
The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, December 2, at Brickner Funeral Home.
