Dorcas M. Blackmore

Dorcas M. Blackmore, 70, of Van Wert, died at 3:30 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.
She was born in Van Wert, OH on August 3, 1941, the daughter of Charles Gyer and Mildred Mae (Robeson) Blackmore, both of whom preceded her in death.
Dorcas worked as a Terminal Manager for several trucking companies.
Dorcas is survived by seven siblings, Jack (Gwenda) Blackmore of Van Wert, OH, Carolyn (Rex) Coil of Springfield, OH, Nancy Lewis of Van Wert, OH, Phyllis (Phillip) Holmes of Ohio City, OH, Donald (Barbara) Blackmore of Van Wert, OH, Pam Dellinger of Van Wert, OH, and William "Willy" (Edie) Blackmore of FL; Seventeen nieces and nephews, Tammy Tribolet, Tim Blackmore, Jeff Blackmore, Greg Blackmore, Matt Blackmore, Emily Blackmore, Laura Hufford, Beth Brandenberg, Shelley Lewis, Brent Blackmore, Cheri Kimmel, Chuck Rollins, David Rollins, Jeremy Rollins, Joel Rollins, Steven Blackmore and Brad Blackmore; Many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sibling in infancy and a nephew, Michael James Rollins.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, at Brickner Funeral Home with the Rev. Neil Hammons officiating. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home Tuesday, July 3, from 9 - 11 AM.
