87, of Van Wert, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Van Wert Manor.
She was born July 21, 1922, in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie (Supinger) Edsall. On February 7, 1942, she married Richard A. Wagonrod, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1989.
Mrs. Wagonrod retired from the Van Wert Manufacturing Company after 30 years of service and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Van Wert and a 1940 graduate of Van Wert High School.
Survivors include four sons, Richard A. (Bonnie) Wagonrod Jr. of Elida, Ronald D. (Carol) Wagonrod of Chicago, Ill., Gary R. (Eldonna) Wagonrod of Ohio City and Dennis A. (Karen) Wagonrod of Van Wert; a brother, Phillip Edsall of Dickinson, N.D.; seven grandchildren, Andrea Callaghan of Dallas, Texas, Aaron Wagonrod of Columbus, Ronald Wagonrod Jr. of Chicago, Tammy Williamson of Lyons, Mich., Amy Limbean of Riverton, Utah, Angie Curtis of Huntsville, and Kathryn Wagonrod of Capital University in Columbus; two stepgrandchildren, Melissa Lester of Columbus and Ryan Prine of Delphos; 11 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
A grandson, Christian Gurtner; one brother, Robert Edsall; and a sister, Violet Thomas, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 30, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. William C. Haggis II officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday, January 29, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
