Dorothy J. (Barker) Webb

Dorothy J. (Barker) Webb, 80, of Van Wert went to be with her Lord and Savior at 4:35 PM Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born in Van Wert, OH on December 22, 1931, the daughter of Elijah and Mildred (Hartzog) Barker, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1984, she married Robert Webb of Delphos who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a Granddaughter that she raised Jill Burnett of Van Wert, and a son, John Bauer of Convoy. Three brothers, Robert Barker, Roger Barker and Sherman Barker all of Van Wert.
Mrs. Webb was an Aide at Van Wert Manor for 17 years and enjoyed the past 20 years as a homemaker and being a loving and caring Grandmother to her Great-Grandchildren: Elliot Ainsworth, Robert Ainsworth, Nicholas Hammond, David Parsons and Tristen Parsons. Mrs. Webb also enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting casinos.
Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Dean Deal; a daughter, Donna Stocklin Burnett; Siblings, Phyllis Barker, Gerald Barker, Margie Neely, Helen Doyle, Harry Barker and Carl Barker.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 29, at Brickner Funeral Home with the Rev. Neil Hammons officiating. Anyone wishing to express loving memories of Mrs. Webb at the service are welcome to.
