Doyle R. "Snaz" Shaw

Doyle R. "Snaz" Shaw, 82, of Van Wert, died at 1:19 AM Friday at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Oct. 3,1930 in Hoaglin Township the son of the late Dewey and Leah (Richards)Shaw, Sr.
He is survived by a Sister, Shirley (Gene) Giessler of Van Wert, a Sister-in-Law, Leah Shaw, and Step-Children, Glen Dunlap, Rex Temple, Randy Temple, Rhonda (Bill) Temple, Vicky Temple, Chris Temple, Terry (Hilda) Temple, Cheryl (Matt) Bretz, Gina (Chad) Brigner, and Robert Temple- 27 Step-Grandchildren and 16 Step-Great-Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a Sister and Brother-in-law Ormal and Ralph Smith, and a Brother, Dewey Shaw, Jr.
Doyle loved antique cars and tractors, his family and friends. Also, he had an incredible knack for fixing things.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday at Brickner Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home from 3 - 7 PM Monday, Nov. 26 and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
Preferred Memorials are to the Van Wert Community Health Professionals Hospice.
