Eddie G. Edwards, Sr

age 68, of Vam Wert, died at 10:34 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2006, at the Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born May 23, 1937 in Opelika, Alabama, the son of the late John Willie and Eula Mae (Williams) Edwards. He married Tovola Edwards who survives in Van Wert.
Mr. Edwards was a member of the Pentecostal Way Church in Van Wert. He had worked for Chrysler and retired after 34 years of service. .

Edwards, Jr (son) of Fort Wayne, IN, Carol (Calvin) Edwards-Lewis (daughter) of Santa Ana, CA, Judith Edwards (daughter) of Bloomington, CA, David(Margaret) Edwards (son) of Van Wert, OH, Dwayne (Vicki) Edwards (son) of Fort Wayne, IN, Keith (Miriam) Edwards (son) of Riverside, CA, Michael (Tammy) Edwards (son) of Van Wert, OH, LaFraye Banks (daughter) of Port Huron, MI, Belinda Jean Ray (step-daughter) of Lima, OH, David DeAngelo Ray (step-son) of Goshen, IN, Lossie B. Dowdell (sister) of Opelika, AL, Clinnie Edwards (brother) of Port Huron, MI, Larry Edwards (brother) North Carolina. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Johnnie B. Edwards, Clarence Edwards & Andrew Lee Edwards.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Pentecostal Way Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Viewing hours are from 3-8 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 at the Funeral Home and 10 a.m. till the time of service Saturday at the church.
