84, of Van Wert, died Friday, October 1, 2010, in the evening at her residence.
She was born December 12, 1925, in Williams County, OH. The daughter of the late Earl Dunlap and Hazel (Mason) Dunlap. She was first married to Joseph L. Harman on November 10,1945. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1999. She is survived by their children, Carol (Robert) Germann (daughter) of Ohio City, OH and Joette Jones (daughter) of Van Wert, OH, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
On November 22, 2002, she married Dale E. LaRue who survives along with his children Pam (Frank) Sinning of Mountain Home, AR, Kathy (Richard) Coffman of Hoaglin, IN, Christine (Joe) Pohlman of Delphos, OH; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Mrs. LaRue was a homemaker, a member of Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church and a former TWIG member.
Her parents, Joseph L. Harman and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 7, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, at the funeral home.
