Elma D. Ireton
October 5, 1918 — February 11, 2006
age 87, of Celina, Ohio and formerly of Van Wert, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina, Ohio.
She was born October 05, 1918, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Ermal (Billman) Piper. On March 29, 1937, she married James L. Ireton, who died October 22, 1988.
Mrs. Ireton was a homemaker, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, and the church Rosary Altar Societ, Van Wert Catholic ladies of Columbia, 1936 Graduate of Celina High School.
Survivors include one son, J. Michael (Dianna) Ireton of Celina, Ohio, two daughters, Portia (William) McConnell of Springfield, Ohio, Marcia (John) Cramer of Van Wert, Ohio, one sister, Ronda (Lyle) Krogman of Celina, Ohio, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Kay, one sister, Doleta Ann, and one grandchild, David Cramer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:oo a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at St. Mary's Of The Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.
Viewing hours are from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Brickner Funeral Home followed by a Parish Rosary at 8:00 p.m.
