Eva Hartman

Eva Hartman, age 104, died Thursday, December 26,2013 at 9:18 AM at Vancrest Healthcare Center, Van Wert. She was born January 1,1909 in Van Wert Co. the daughter of Adam and Susanna Palmer.
On June 22, 1937 she was married to Charles "Chod" Hartman who preceded her in death August 5, 1980.
She is survived by a nephew, Alan Palmer of both Tennessee and Florida.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Flo Owens and Ruth Langdon and 1 brother, Vaughn Palmer.
Eva was a graduate of the former Ridge High School and Van Wert Co. Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Van Wert Co. Hospital as Obstetrical Supervisor from 1933 until her retirement in 1973.
She had been an active member of the Bethel UM Church.
Funeral Services will be at Noon Monday, December 30, 2013 at Bricker Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Wack officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until Time of Services.
