Evelyn M. Knuth, 86, of Middle Point, died at 4:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. She was born February 16, 1929, in Pickaway County, Ohio, to Charles Vernon and Jessie Belle (Haddix) Mettler who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her Children: Jessie (Danny) Chesbro of Van Wert- George (Toni) Searfoss of Haviland- Evelyn (Don) Mercer of Antwerp- Edward & William Knuth of Middle Point- Sonny (Lorna) Jewell of Grover Hill- Everett (Sophie) Jewell of Texas- Kathleen (Tom) Hawk of Indianapolis- Helen Richardson of Delphos-Daughter-in-law Kathy Parks Jewell- A special niece, Sandy (John) Oliver of Van Wert-many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Jewell Dawson and sibilings Robert Jewell, Jacque Jewell, Chuck Searfoss, Jilda Searfoss Yoh, and Earnest Jewell.
Evelyn had been a home health care provider and had attended Pioneer Christian Ministry Church of Van Wert.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Brickner Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Auglaize Chapel Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home Friday, November 27, 2015 from 2 - 8 PM and 1 hour prior to services at Brickner Funeral Home.
