Francis J. Holscher

63, of Van Wert, died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born September 30, 1943, in Detroit, Mich., the son of the late Frank and Anna (Nickolaus) Holscher.
Mr. Holscher retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1993 and from GKN Sinter Metals Inc. in 1995. He enjoyed being with people, working with his flowers and spending time at Smiley Park.
Survivors include three brothers, Ed Holscher and Bob Holscher, both of Michigan, and Lou Holscher of Florida; and a sister, Dorothy Prichett of Florida.
Two sisters, Mary Ann Holscher and Rosmarie Temorowski, and a brother, Leroy Holscher, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Father Mike Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Visitation is from noon-1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
