Gayle Fredrick Hoghe

87, of Van Wert, died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
He was born August 31, 1919, in Van Wert, the son of the late Abraham C. and Fay (Grunewald) Hoghe. He married Marcile (Baer) Hoghe, who survives at their Van Wert residence.
Mr. Hoghe owned and operated Hoghe Body Shop for many years and was a retired employee of Eaton (Aeroquip) Corporation in Van Wert. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Carl (Patricia) Hoghe, Tim (Colleen) Hoghe and Brad (Denise) Hoghe; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Tonnie Jean Hoehn, also preceded him in death.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.
