Geneva Lambert was born June 22, 1922 in Delphos, Ohio. Her parents were Benjamin & Ethyl (Miller) Etgen who are both deceased. Her husband, Lonnie Lambert, who she married on March 27, 1942, preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2009. Mrs. Lambert died at 12:27 PM Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Van Wert County Hospital Emergency Department as the result of an automobile accident at Lincoln Highway and Chenowith Road.
Other survivors are 2 nephews Raymond Etgen and Larry Etgen. 2 Great Nephews, Raymond Etgen and Ben Etgen. 2 Great Nieces, Lindi Coil and Jodi Spear
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Etgen and a great nephew, David Etgen.
She had worked at the former Van Wert Manufacturing Co. and had been a cook at Lincolnview Schools.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert with Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 and 1 hour prior to services on Thursday.
