77, of Convoy, Ohio, died at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert Ohio.
He was born January 06, 1930, in Van Wert, Ohio, the son of the late Scott and Nellie (Crites) Imler. He married Helen Murphy, who preceded him in death in 1992.
Mr. Imler retired from the former Continental Can Company. He was a member of the American Legion Post 178 in Van Wert, and a Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by 1 Daughter: Charlene Nunez of Cloverdale, OH, - 1 Daughter-in-Law: Rebecca Imler Ladd of Oakwood, OH,-1 Step-Son: Jack Murphy of Marion, OH,- A Special Friend, Bonnie Ashbaugh- 3 Grandchildren: Michael Imler, Michelle Seibert, and Miguel Nunez -5Great-Grandchildren: Logan Harrison, Skylar Imler, Mason Imler, Marquise Seibert, and Ean Seibert.
He was preceded in death by 1 Son: James Imler in 2002- 3 Sisters: Grace Logan, Ruby Bechtol, and Inez Tumbleson 1 Brother: David Imler.
Services will be held Monday, July 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Internment will be at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the combined Honors Unit of Veterans of Foreigh Wars Post 5803, and American Legion Post 178.
Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday July 29, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M..
