Gerald "Butch" Williams

Gerald "Butch" Williams, 76, of Van Wert, died at 9:32 PM Saturday at Van Wert Health.  He was born December 17, 1943, in Wren, Ohio the son of the late Russell and Dorothy Williams.

He is survived by his spouse, Barbara (Case) Williams, a son, Dennis Williams of Van Wert, grandchildren Alex, Sarah, and Ariel Williams and a brother, Don Williams. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dixie.

Butch was employed by General Electric both in Decatur and Fort Wayne, IN.  Following retirement he drove the handicapped van for Van Wert Council on Aging for 10 years.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Decatur, IN, and The Sons of the Legion Post 178 Van Wert.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Brickner Funeral Home with Pastor Laura Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.  Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home from 11:00 AM Thursday until Time of Services.
