Gladys L. (Allen) Caudill

Gladys L. Caudill, age 88, of Van Wert, died at 12:13 AM Monday, October 24, 2016, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born August 12, 1928, in Van Wert, the daughter of Glen Onious and Anna M. (Disbennet) Allen. On July 31, 1948 she married F.Eugene Black who preceded her in death June 15, 1986, Then on November 15, 1991 she married Kenneth L. Caudill and he preceded her in death June 16, 2002.
Gladys was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Aux. in Spencerville. She had been employed as a waitress in several local restaurants.
She is survived by 2 Sisters, many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim, Glen Jr., Louis, and Donald, one Sister Esther, one Brother-in-Law Richard E. Black, and two Sisters-in-Law Grace Berryman and Virginia Leiter.
Private Graveside Service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Woodland Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
