Gloria Irene (Schoonover) Felger

Gloria Irene Felger, age 77, of Van Wert passed away at 10:07 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Van Wert Impatient Hospice.  She was born March 10,  1938 in Van Wert, a daughter of Frank & Emma (Taylor) Schoonover, both of whom are deceased.  On June 25, 1965 she married Ralph E. Felger, who died July 14, 2003.

She is survived by her children, Anita Richards of MiddlePoint, Jennifer Yoh and James Felger, both of Van Wert, Eric Felger of Anna, Ohio and Amy (Mike) Garrett of Delphos.  Also surviving are grandchildren:  Stacie Rhodes, Franklin, TN, Justin (Amanda) Yoh, Sidney, Ohio, Shellie (Dave) Ralston, Wren, Ohio and a great grandchild, Lillian Nicole Yoh, who is to be born in April 2016.  She is also survived by brothers:: Frank  (Lois) Schoonover, Larry (Beverly) Schoonover, Tom (Mary) Tyler, sisters:  Carolyn (Steve) Murphy, Emma ( Wade Sr,) Raines, a sister in law, Penny Tyler, and a brother in law, Danny Felger.  Also surviving is her loyal canine companion Molly.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons Brent & Brian Felger and a brother, Clifford Tyler, Sr.

She was a member of TOPS and the Rainbow  Club.

Services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Brickner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Alter of Grace Baptist Church Sidney, Ohio officiating.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 2 PM until 8 PM in the funeral home.  Private family burial will take place at a later date in Taylor Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to:  The Van Wert Humane Society and Van Wert Community Health Professionals Hospice.
