Gloria Jean Hammond

Gloria Jean Hammond, age 69, of Van Wert passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at her Van Wert residence. She was born on November 17, 1946 in Van Wert a daughter of Gordon and June (Brenizer) Baxter. She was married to Samuel Hammond who is deceased.
Surviving is a daughter, Robin Thomas of Van Wert a son, Brian (Andrea) Hammond of Kalida, OH., three grand children, Gage, Lucas and Cullen Hammond, a brother, Gary Baxter and a sister, Gwen Kemerly both of Convoy.
She loved spending time with her grandsons doing word finds and playing Uno. She was always very concerned about being a good friend and helping others in need. She had previously attended Wesley United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Brickner Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Burns officiating.. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
