Grace June Boyce, 85, of Van Wert died at 3:00 PM Sunday August 19, 2012 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Van Wert.
She was born May 9, 1927 in Anna, Illinois to James and Sarah Tucker. In 1929, she was adopted by Robert Dee and Mae Mocabee of Van Wert. She is survived by her husband, John Boyce of Van Wert, whom she married on August 4, 1947.
She is survived by 2 Children: David (Karla) Boyce and Sandra (Jim) Sheets, both of Van Wert; 7 Grandchildren, Lori Tate, Craig (Angie) Sheets, Corey (Andrea) Boyce, Jennifer (Eric) Boyce, Tamara (Pat) Williamson, Angela (Rob) Curtis, Amy (Tom) Limbean; 18 Great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
She was a long time member of Rockford Presbyterian Church. Grace was an avid golfer and bowler. She loved to fish at the family cottage in Michigan.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert with Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home from 2-8 PM Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012.
