Helen Joan Riley

77, of Van Wert, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Vancrest Health Care Center.
She was born September 24, 1929, in Van Wert, OH., the daughter of the late Clyde and Loretta (Brabant) Conwell. She married June 07, 1948 to Joseph W. Riley, who died January 11, 1977. Mrs. Riley was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, and the American Legion Womens Auxilliary.
Survivors include two sons, Dan (Nancy) Riley, Bill (Pam) Riley, both of Van Wert, two daughters, Chris (Phil) Taylor of Butler, IN., Diana "Doe" (David) Freels of Van Wert. Seven grandchildren, one step-grandchild, six great-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene (Whitey) Conwell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Reed O.S.L. officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Visitation is from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the funeral home.
