Hermie E. Snyder

Hermie G. Snyder, age 86, died Monday, December 29, 2014 at 6:15 PM at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.  He was born July 1, 1928 in rural Ridge Township to Russell and Ray (Overholt) Snyder who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Irene (Spealman).

He is survived by his children:  Daughters Marcia Dangler and Jean Ann Kline both of Van Wert; Son Kim B. (Renee) Snyder of Florida.  He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 23 Great-grandchildren and 13 Great-Great grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

He was a small engine repairman and spent a great part of his career employed by the former Mohr's of Scott store.  He was a member of the North Union United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, January 2, 2014 at Brickner Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Wack officiating.  Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery.  Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home on Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 and on Friday, January 2 from 9:30 AM to time of Service.
