Irma L. Flickinger

90, of Van Wert, died at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born June 9, 1918, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Fred and Laura (Richey) Flickinger.
Miss Flickinger was employed as a bookkeeper at the former E.J. Evans Company for 35 years and at the former Van Wert Bookstore for 10 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert and its United Methodist Women, which she had served as treasurer for many years.
Survivors include a brother, Marhl (Ruth) Flickinger of Van Wert; two sisters, Lois Flicking of Van Wert and Miriam Bandy of Lima; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. Friday, September 19, at the funeral home.
