Jacqueline R. Thompson

Jacqueline R. Thompson, 87, of Huntsville, Ohio, and a former resident of Van Wert, died at 3:55 PM Saturday, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Van Wert the daughter of the late Ivan Sam and Ethel Rose (Putman)Mahan. On Dec. 14, 1984, she married Don R. Thompson who survives her in Huntsville, Ohio.

She is also survived by one son: Todd (Deb) McFarland, Waterford, MI- 2 grandchildren Joshua T. (Megan) McFarland, Midland, MI and Caitlin N. McFarland, Waterford, MI.

Jackie was employed as an office administrator for both the late Dr. F.A. McCammon and then the former Aeroquip Corporation. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Van Wert. She was a volunteer with many charitable organizations in and around the Indian Lake and Huntsville area.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert Co. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home from 4 - 8 PM Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory to Our Daily Bread or the Food Pantry in the Indian Lake area or to the First United Methodist Church, Van Wert.
