Janell L. Lamb

Janell L. Lamb, 70, of Van Wert, died at 4:21 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010, at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born April 11, 1940, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Russell Eugene and Noella Mary (Smith) Wise. She was formerly married to Donald Lamb.
Mrs. Lamb was a former nurses aide at Van Wert Manor and homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert.
Survivors include two children, Rick (Karla) Lamb of Van Wert, OH, and Brenda Taylor of Busy, KY; a brother, Carl (Dianne) Wise, a sister, Marilyn Wennig of Ft. Wayne, IN; four grandchildren, Kara C. Lamb-Motter, Jessie M. (Jerome) Thomas, Jason J. (Allison) Lamb and Jamie R. Taylor; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Mike Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Prayer Vigil beginning at 8pm.
