Jennie Irene Yakos

Jennie Irene Yakos, 85, Van Wert, died at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Van Wert.
She was born January 6, 1926, in Millbury, OH, to the late Frank and Agnes (Konecny) Motycka. On November 20, 1948, she married Joe Yakos, who survives in Van Wert.
She is survived by her husband, Joe, a daughter, Sharon (Warren) Madden of Kennesaw, GA; a sister, Mary Motycka of Napoleon, OH; a sister-in-law, Anne Maxson-Boudreaux of Easley, SC and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two sisters: Agnes Fox and Elizabeth Horak.
Jennie graduated from Lake High School in Millbury, OH and she was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Ron Lumm will officiate. Calling will be Monday, March 7, 2011, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
