Jet Stoller

Jet Stoller, age 79, of Van Wert died at 10:30 PM Monday, September 19, 2016 at Community Health Professionals Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.  He was born July 2, 1937 in Latty, Ohio, a son of Michael and Magdalena (Manz) Stoller both of whom are deceased.  On September 27, 1969 he married Jeanne Bowen who survives in Van Wert.

He is also survived by a son, Thomas (Amy) Stoller of Fort Wayne, three grandchildren: Mitchell, Bradford and Claire Stoller,  and three sisters Ann Plummer, Dolores Riggenbaugh and Josephine Stoller all of Paulding.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenneth and Ellsworth Stoller and a sister, Katherine Oesch.

He retired as an inspection foreman from Eisenhauer Manufacturing Co. after many years of service.  He also worked for a time at the former Wells Truck Sales and owned the former Macs Delicatessen for several years.

He was veteran of the United States Navy, a member of American Legion Post 178 and the 40 et 8, and Knights of Columbus Council 6034.  He was also a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery at Latty.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic  Church with Father Stanley Syzbka officiating. The family will receive visitors at Brickner Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016.  A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home following the visitation.
