Joannie T. Krywalski

Joannie Krywalski, 80, Van Wert, died at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born May 22, 1930, in Van Wert, to the late Roy Hartman and Maude (Allison) Hartman. In 1983, she married Daniel R. Krywalski. He died July 4, 2002.
She is survived by a sister: Joyce Cross of Delphos, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by four sisters: Josephine McGinnis (twin sister), Ruth Sharky, Betty Cooper and Norma May, and eight brothers: Berle and Bernard (twins), Bill, Stan, Bob, Zack, Don and Charles Hartman.
She was employed at the former Teleflex as a press operator for 30 years. She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5801 Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars National Home for Children, and American Legion Post 78 Auxiliary as well as a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Calling will be at the funeral home on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, from 2 to 6 p.m. followed by a VFW Aux. Memorial Service at 6 p.m.
