John K. Linser

John K. Linser, 81, of Van Wert, died at 12:55 PM Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born in Van Wert December 7, 1931, the son of the late Edward and Berniece (Kennedy)Linser. On August 29,1952, he married Shirley (Dias) and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children: John K. (Brenda) Linser, Jr., of Ossian, IN- Joseph K. Linser, Van Wert- Sheryl (Gary)Morris, Tampa, FL - James K.(Sundra) Linser, Loveland, FL. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 1 Brother, Edward Linser of Gastonia, NC.
John was a retired employee of Chrysler Corporation. He had served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and had been a member of the Van Wert Co. Sheriff's Auxillary.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Brickner Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Honors Unit of Van Wert American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803. Burial will be at a later date in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation immediately following the Service.
