Kevin Bruce Cotterman

53, of Convoy, died at 10:20 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born August 27, 1956, in Van Wert, the son of the late William G. and JoAnn E. (Sharpe) Cotterman.
Mr. Cotterman worked at CME Manufacturing in Monroeville, Ind. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy (12 years) and U.S. Army Reserve (9 years) and was a member of American Legion Post 178 in Van Wert.
Survivors include a brother, Rick L. (Jeanie) Cotterman of Convoy; two sisters, Bobbie (Bill) Bollinger of Dayton and Billie (Sherwood) Smith of Aurora, Colo.; six nieces, Dawn Lemon, Kendra Sylverstad, Kelli Thiessen, Dana Miller, Tracy Coyne, and Nikki Schnieder; three nephews, Brad Bollinger, William (Darcy) Cotterman and Timothy Cotterman; and his dog, Belle.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 23, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Jody Harr officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, with graveside military rites performed by the combined honors units of Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, July 22, and an hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
