Marilyn Kay (Kingen) Routt

May 22, 1955 — January 12, 2015

Marilyn Kay Routt, 59, of Cavett, died at 12:45 PM Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.   She was born May 22, 1955, in St. Mary's, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Opal (Dunlap) Kingen.

She is survived by her husband Steven; Sons Doug (Paula) Bogle of Convoy and Dan (Trina) Bogle of Monroeville, IN-Grandchildren Copsey, Drew, Roselynn, and Kaygen Bogle of Convoy and Madison and Rhiannon Bogle of Monroeville; Brothers Tim (Becky) Kingen of Muncie, IN, Sam Kingen of St. Mary's, Randy (Renee) Kingen of West Virginia, Guy Kingen of Celina; Half Brothers Greg (Kathy) Correll of Celina and Kenny Correll of Indianapolis

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Kingen and half brothers Bob Correl and Carl Garee.

She was employed by Eaton Corporation as a production worker.

She was a member of Countryside Chapel and North Union United Methodist Churches.

Marilyn was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother devoted to her family and especially to her grandchildren.  She loved to travel and visit with her friends and family.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Brickner Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Karges officiating.  Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery after which there will be a luncheon will be served at Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church.   Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home from 1 - 4 and 6 - 8 Thursday and 9:30 to Time of Service on Friday.

Preferred Memorials are to the Scott Fire and EMS Department.
