Mark "Mick" Alan Kruse

ELIDA- Mark "Mick" Alan Kruse, 59 of Elida, Ohio passed away on November 10, 2011 at 1:25 pm, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on June 30, 1952 in Elida to Cleo (Sherrick) Kruse and the late Donald Kruse.
Survivors include one son, Justin (Marisa) Kruse of Elida, son of Pamela Lozano.
And four beloved grandchildren: Aidan, Cameron, Alayna, and Victoria Kruse.
Surviving siblings include Kris (Jeff) Thompson of Elida, and Kory (Denise) Kruse of Delphos.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robin.
Mick graduated from Elida High School in 1970. He grew up working at Kruse Sohio with his father, where he enjoyed many years. He retired from Dana Corp. after 32 years of dedication.
Mick was a true friend to all he met, he loved the NY Yankees, muscle cars, drag racing, and the smell of nitromethane at the drag strip. Rock and Roll music was a passion, as he attended hundreds of concerts. But above all, he cherished time spent with his young grandchildren.
Memorial Service will begin at 7:00pm on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at St Paul's United Methodist Church in Elida. Visiting hours from 4:00 to 7:00pm same day.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
