Martha E. "Annie" Keipper

Martha E. "Annie" Keipper, age 81, of Columbus, IN, died at 8:05 AM Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in Hospice at the home of her daughter Mary Shelton of Columbus, IN. She was born July 9, 1940, in Hanau, Germany the daughter of the late Heinrich and Katherina (Hoffman) Schilling.  On December 22, 1956 she married Robert V. Keipper who preceded her in death November 17,1997.

She is survived by her children:  Mary (Richard) Shelton of Columbus, IN- Susie Emrick of Van Wert- Vanessa (Michael)  Shaver of Logansport, IN- Laura Mason of Logansport, IN-Edward (Lisa) Keipper of Rockford, Ohio-Daughter-in-law Gladys Keipper of Van Wert-12 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren- Sister, Karin of Florida.   She was preceded in death by two Sons Patrick and Colin Keipper and a Granddaughter Leah Emrick.

Annie was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.  She also was a Life Member of both the Van Wert Veterans of Foreign Wars Aux. 5803 and Van Wert American Legion Post 176 Aux.  She was very proud of becoming a Citizen of the United States June 15, 1965.

Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home Friday morning, July 23, 2021 from 9:00 AM TO 11:30 am at which time Veterans of Foreign Wars Post  5803 Aux. will conduct a Memorial Service followed by a Funeral Service with Rev. Chris Wanemacher Officiating.  In Lieu of flowers the Family requests Memorials to Hospice of South Central Indiana 2626 E. 17th. St. Columbus, IN 47201.
