Michael Raymond "Bo" Gibbs
January 2, 1949 — June 9, 2011
Michael Raymond "Bo" Gibbs, 62, of Venedocia, died at 11:10 a.m. on June 9, 2011 at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born January 2, 1949, in Lima, OH to the late George Elwood and Mary Louise (Yoder) Gibbs. He married Katherine (Freels) Gibbs on January 12, 1983 and she survives in Venedocia.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber A. Gibbs of Venedocia, OH; 3 Step-sons, Stephen (Paula) Harner of Lima, OH, William "Bill" (Tommie Thompson) Harner of Ada, OH, and Robert (Sandy) Harner of Florida; Two sisters, Sandee Gibbs Crider and Christine Gibbs both of Elida, OH. His best friend, Tim Price of Venedocia, OH and all of the wonderful people of Venedocia.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Gibbs and a newphew, Todd Crider.
He was retired from R.H. Heist where he was a painter and welder. He attended Immanuel United Methodist Church of Elida.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Pastor Kimberly R. Pope-Seiberling officiating. Calling will be Sunday, June 12, 2011, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family internment will be at a later date.
