Mitchell David Mcgough
February 9, 1985 — December 9, 2005
age 20, of Paulding County, died Friday, December 9, 2005, in Corpus Christi, Texas, as the result of a car-train accident.
He was born February 9, 1985, in Van Wert, the son of Robert (Renee) McGough Jr., who survives in Antwerp, and Mary Ann (Alan) Miller, who survives in Columbus Grove.
Mr. McGough was serving in the United States Navy. He was stationed in Ingleside, Texas, and was assigned to the USS Falcon. He was a 2003 graduate of Wayne Trace High School.
In addition to his parents, survivors include three brothers, Matt McGough of Grover Hill, a twin brother, Michael McGough of Columbus Grove and Kenneth Sakosits of Grover Hill; his former stepfather, Jon M. Sakosits, and his grandparents Alonzo and Linda Brummette of Mendon, Robert (Carmen) McGough Sr. of Columbus and Patricia (Tim) Ralston of Van Wert.
He was preceded in death by a cousin, Darrell E. Brummette, and several great-grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill, with graveside military rites performed by the Grover Hill Veterans of Foreign Wars post.
