84, of Van Wert, died at 6:35 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2005, at her residence.
She was born March 21, 1921, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Glenn and Iva (Black) Steinmetz. On February 3, 1945, in Van Wert, she married Raymond L. Coleman, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Coleman was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Ronald L. (Linda) Coleman of Ocala, Fla.; two daughters, Paula M. (Larry) Giessler of Van Wert and Kathy J. (Gregg) Perry of Monroeville, Ind.; one brother, Glen Steinmetz of Van Wert; two sisters, Eleanor (Vic) Gentile of Van Wert and Phyllis Ann Schaadt of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four grandchildren, Trevor Coleman, Erin (Phillip) Morton, Adam Giessler of Van Wert and Alisha (Charles) Buchanan, and two great-granddaughters, Morgan and Sydney Morton.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Luella Mae Steinmetz and Pauline Frock. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 11, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Raymond Feeck officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Viewing hours are 1-5 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the funeral home.
