Paul L. Edwards

Paul L. Edwards, age 66, of Van Wert, died at 7:13 AM Tuesday morning, January 10, 2012 at Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born in Kansas City, MO the son William David and Pauline Amanda (Wade) Edwards, both preceded him in death. On July 20, 1985, he was united in marriage with Linda L. (Metzger) Edwards who survives in Van Wert.
Survivors include a daughter, Julie A. (Fred) Kiesewetter of Piqua, OH; a step-daughter, Angela M. (Dave) Ireton of Van Wert,OH; a brother, Otis Edwards of Elida, OH; a sister, Betty L. Feliciano of Celina, OH; an uncle, Guy (Marge) Wade of CA; three grandchildren, Paige and Anna Kiesewetter of Piqua, OH and Logan Friesner of Van Wert, OH.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lowell, Jon Dean and Blaine Edwards. Also a sister, Jayne Edwards in infancy.
Paul had a great of love of sports especially the Buckeyes and Reds. He loved doing things with his grandchildren. He was an Army Veteran from the Vietnam Conflict.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Liberty Baptist Church, Van Wert, OH with the Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Brickner Funeral Home Van Wert from 2:00-5:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Friday January 13, 2012. Preferred memorials are donations to St. Jude Hospital.
