She was born in Paulding County, OH., on October 30, 1911 the daughter of the late Ralph and Cornellia (Chemin) Dangler . On June 29, 1934, she married Gaylord Clayton Fast, who preceeded her in death on May 05, 1973.

Mrs. Fast was a Homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Van Wert for 64 years making her the longest continual active member of the church, and the Women's Missionary Society of the Church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Hope Dangler, Eleanor Goodenough, and Gail Hopkins-2 Brothers: Chris and Murl Dangler.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Steven A. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, at the funeral home.
