Phyllis L. Hipp

80, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 01, 2006, the Kingston Residence Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born September 14, 1926, in Grover Hill Ohio, the daughter of the late George S. Hipp and Arvilla A. (Powell) Scarbrough.

Ms. Hipp retired from General Electric, where she worked as a clerk for 35 years. She attended the First Christian Church of Fort Wayne. During her life she enjoyed golfing and traveling. In later years she wintered in Florida. She was a member of General Electric Elects Club. She was a graduate of Fort Wayne Business College.

Survivors include a two nephews, Dr. Terrell D. (Beverly) Berryman of Venice Florida, Charles F. Brown of Indianapolis Indiana, four nieces, Diane (Bill) Howard of Fort Wayne Indiana, Monica (Richard) Hubble of Van Wert Ohio, Suzy Jackson of Indianapolis Indiana, Nancy (David) Wallace of New Haven Indiana, one sister, Sue Brown of Rodgers City Michigan, six great nieces, 4 great nephews, 2 great great nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Marie Berryman and Patty Burnett, one niece, Becky Burnett, and her step-father, Lawerence Scarbrough.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 05, 2006 at the Funeral Home, with Rev. David Ray officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill Ohio.

Visitation is from 2-8p.m. Monday, December 04, 2006 at the Funeral Home in Van Wert.
