77, of Van Wert, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at his residence.
He was born July 14, 1927, in Washington Twp., Van Wert County, Ohio, the son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Mapes) Ringwald. He was married to Juanita E.Ringwald, September 26, 1945, who suvives in Van Wert.
Mr. Ringwald was Retired employee of International Harvester/Navistar after 28 1/2 years of service- Also had worked at the former Bells Triangle and Clyde Evans Groceries in Van Wert and was a greeter at the Van Wert Wal-Mart Store for 12 years.
Survivors include 3 Daughters: Darlene J. (Ralph) Hamrick of Hesperia, CA, -Bonita L. (Larry) Sutton of Van Wert, OH,- Susan K. Ringwald of Van Wert, OH,- 1 Son: Ralph E. "Skip" Ringwald,Jr. of Van Wert, OH,- 2 Brothers: Bill (Della Rae) Ringwald of Ft. Meade, FL,- Clarence Ringwald of Van Wert, OH,- 4 Sisters: Edith Kundert of Delphos, OH,- Irene (Jim) Zirkle of Venedocia, OH,- Helen (John) Stutz of Venedocia, OH,- Mary Butler of Van Wert, OH,- 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a 1 Brother: John R. Ringwald.
He was a Member of the First Presbyterian Church, Van Wert- Served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1947- Member of Van WertAmerican Legion Post 178- UAW Local 57.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:PM Monday, February 28, 2005 at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward W. Jillson officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2005.
Internment will be at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, OH. Where Military Graveside Services will be performed by the combined Honors Unit of Van Wert American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Community Health Professionals, Visiting Nurses or Hospice.
