Ray Lynn Dewitt

age 47, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at his residence.

He was born July 20, 1958, in Ohio City, the son of the late Walter and Dicia (Book) DeWitt.

Mr. DeWitt was employed at Herbert E. Orr & Company in Paulding for more than 15 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and belonged to United Auto Workers Local 211.

Survivors include a sister, Beth Peterson of Simpsonville, S.C.

Private funeral services will be conducted.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, January 21, at Brickner Funeral Home, with military rites performed at 4 p.m. by the combined honors units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both in Van Wert.
