Raynie M. Rayer-Wilson, 15, of rural Ohio City, died Saturday evening. She was born August 16, 2002, in DuPont Hospital in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Vickie M. (Cochenspager) Rayer and the late Jeffrey S. Wilson.
She is survived by her grand parents Michael J. and Edna (Muter) Semer of Rural Ohio City, her twin Rylie Rayer-Wilson of rural Ohio City, her other sisters Nicole M. (Curt) Moore of Rossville, IN, Brandie J. (Bill) Combs of Ligonier IN, Angie (Chris) Frost of Van Wert, Hunter A.M. Rayer of Ligonier: her great grandparents David and Peg Stuckey of Van Wert, also survive along with her step-mother Nancy Wilson. In addition she is survived by aunts Deborah E. (Armando) Alba of Van Wert, Pam and Tammy and uncles Gary, Roger, and Vince. "Special" niece Maekayla and Karlee and nephews Nathan Moore of Rossville IN, Ian Frost of Van Wert, Logan Friesner of Grover HIll, and cousin Maekenzie E. Alba of Van Wert,
She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandmother Jo Ann Jackson and Paternal Grandfather Garry Wilson, Maternal great grandfather James Semer and Ashley and Mable Muter, and brother Jefery "J J " Rayer.
Raynie was a member of the freshman class at Van Wert High School, played flute in the VWHS Band and sang in the VWHS Choir. She was a cheer leader for Upward basketball and Van Wert Middle School. She was a member of First UB in Christ Church youth group. She loved animals and art and anything to do with art, especially drawing, painting, and music.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 10:30 at Brickner Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Harr officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Van Wert Woodland Cemetery. Calling will be at Brickner Funeral Home Wednesday, April 18 from 2 - 8 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM to time of services.
