Robert Dean Sterrett
March 21, 1932 — August 24, 2012
Robert "Bob" Dean Sterret went to live with the Lord August 24, 2012. He passed away peacefully at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center surrounded by family and friends.
Bob was born in Lima, Ohio, March 21, 1932, to the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Schulz) Sterrett. He was a loving husband to his surviving spouse Dorothy (Beery) Sterrett and father to three children, Kathy (deceased), Tim, and Vicki. He was grandfather to six, great-grandfather to four, and father figure to many.
Robert had been the owner of the former Sterrett's Heating and Air Conditioning, Co. of Van Wert. He loved people and fishing. He also loved his country and had proudly served her in the Korean War.
He will be greatly missed by all.
Viewing will be held at Brickner Funeral Home from 2-4 PM Monday followed by a short Christian Memorial Service with the Rev. Stuart Wyatt officiating.
