Robert "Bobby" Strawser

50, of Haviland, died at 11:55 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at Community Health Professionals' Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born August 24, 1958, in Grover Hill, the son of the late Robert and Bertha (Hoover) Strawser. He married Mary Ellen (Williams) Strawser, who survives in Haviland.
Mr. Strawser was an over the road truck driver.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Strawser of Haviland; one grandchild, Jazmen Longsworth, also of Haviland; and a future son-in-law, Cliff Longsworth of Haviland.
His in-laws, Paul L. and Margaret Williams, also preceded him in death.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at Scott Cemetery, with Pastor Alma Rhodes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.
