Roger A. Brake

52, of Van Wert, died at 6:25 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born February 23, 1953, in Van Wert County, the son of Kenneth M. Brake and the late Dorothy M. (Allemeier) Brake.
Mr. Brake was a retired employee of Teleflex Corporation. He worked with horses, loved animals and enjoyed decorating for Christmas.
In addition to his father, survivors include his companion, Sue Leiendecker; a brother, Larry Brake of Spokane, Wash.; one sister, Kendra Rider of Van Wert; Leiendecker's children, Eva, James, Audrey, Brandy and Melissa; Leiendecker's grandchildren, Skyler, Cody, Libby, Tanner, Cloey, Lexis and Preston, and the following nieces and nephews, Amber Fabian of Van Wert and Traci, Trisha, Casey, Erin and Kylee, all of Spokane.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Rev. Cindy Lumm officiating.
Viewing hours are 1-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the funeral home.
